BRANDON THOMAS, TN STATE HOUSE DISTRICT 49
Brandon Thomas (he/him/his) is running for Tennessee State House district 49. When elected, Brandon will be the first out member of the LGBTQ community to serve in the Tennessee General Assembly, and the first Black state legislator to represent Rutherford County. A longtime activist and advocate with experience living paycheck to paycheck, Brandon’s voice is sorely needed in a legislature currently lacking in compassion and understanding for working families and marginalized communities.
