Voting Information & Deadlines
Eligibility
You must be a U.S. Citizen.
You must be a resident of Tennessee.
You must be at least 18 years old on/or before the next election.
You must have a valid state or federal-issued photo ID.
You must be registered in the county you are voting in. This must be updated prior to election day.
Registration Deadlines
You must register 30 days before the election.
Absentee ballots must be obtained 7 days before the election if in person or by mail.
Voter absentee ballots are due by election day or they will not be counted.
