RCDP Volunteer Committees
The RCDP has 4 volunteer-based committees: Candidate Recruitment, Communications, Civic Engagement, and Fundraising. Each committee is chaired by an RCDP officer and is comprised of Executive Committee members.
However, you do not need to be a member of the Executive Committee to join, nor do you even need to be a Rutherford County resident! Find more information about each committee below, and consider joining by sending us an email.

Candidate Recruitment
Chair: Matt Fee
The Candidate Recruitment Committee prioritizes recruiting and training potential candidate for state and local positions across Rutherford County. By attending events, meeting members of the community directly, and discussing different aspects of elected positions, the sub-committee is able to establish a list of individuals who are interested in running to better their community.
Communications
Chair: Katrina Aguilar
The Communications Committee prioritizes creative outreach efforts to attract community members to the RCDP and generates accessible ways for Rutherford County residents to see what the party has accomplished. The committee oversees the RuCo Roundup monthly newsletter, all social media accounts, the RCDP website, and RCDP advertising materials.
Civic Engagement
Chair: JR Marable
The Civic Engagement Committee prioritizes providing Executive Committee members and volunteers opportunities to get involved in their community through events and outreach efforts. The committee assists the Communications Committee in advertising different events, in addition to fostering relationships with other like-minded organizations and networks that align with the party’s goals.
Fundraising
Chair: Brandon Thomas
The Fundraising Committee prioritizes community outreach efforts to generate funds to invest in and support the RCDP. Through creative approaches in fundraising, the committee both brings together the community through different events and builds a sustainable way for the party to further their goals. The committee oversees special events such as True Blue Tuesday’s.
